Half of a Zine in its Entirety

Hello again, Earthlings! It has been so long since we have last not met, so we have decided to bring you something from the future via the past. Here is a short story by Scott "Freak-Hands" Rideout that was half of a zine called "Fortnight of Night." The other half was drawn by Crystal Regan (if you are interested in seeing her half email us atforcesunlimited@yahoo.comand we will send you a pdf.) Not many people have seen these drawings so this is a very rare blog post. FYI: This story became inspiration for part of a comic book series that Scott will illustrate called Ordinary Tales, written by Boring Dan. FYIA: The original size of the drawings/zine = 3.25" x 4" (do you feel like you're watching pop-up video yet?)
FYIAA: We decided to post the spreads as a whole rather than break them up and show each page individually. Hopefully, that doesn't freak you out too much.

WARNING! Circle Around The Block!

Here is a portrait. A portrait of a loser. A portrait of a loser who wins, see? Don't get in his way, because he'll knock your block off! And then he'll take your socks off, while your feet are still in them! and he'll beat you 'til you're feet feel sorry for you. And just when you think you've had enough he'll buy you a nice dinner. Then you might think he feels sorry for you, but he doesn't, 'cause then he sells you to the chef and tells the chef to turn you into HIS dinner! And that is just the first chapter of a long, long tale of pain and rage.

Killing Time (Happy Independence Day!)

Two very fresh pieces from Alana Ponui. She is experimenting with a new method here. These two pieces are entirely made up out of HTML and JAVA code. Each nuance that seems like a physical drawing on actual paper is a well crafted code--the shadow side of our reality, if you will--existing only in the cyber-realm. The first piece is called "Beautiful Mondays" and the second piece is called "Calling All Butterflies."

We Entreat You, Have Another

To all of our followers in Russia and Malaysia we apologize! It has been soooo long since we have posted, but we've got some real humdingers lined up! Here is a new offering from Richard Tuggz. A shameless study of the female human form. A woman so hellbent on exacting revenge that she has honed her dagger skills and donned a weird outfit. And next comes the death of her adversary. Next week: a drawing by Scott Rideout.
